so much pain! always wear a helmet and pads. I am so thankful for my helmet, Icould have cracked open my skull. Alex and I fell down a huge hill going fast on our longboards, he lost balance right next to me and I couldn’t focus, so we wiped out one after another- hitting our helmets on the asphalt hard. Alex fell forwards, and I fell backwards on my ass.
When i hit the ground, I immediately got scared of my spine, cuz I hit my tailbone on the way down.. but I soon hit the back of my head and the impact was hard. I then heard all of my pads (elbows and knees) scrap the ground as I rolled over and flipped into the middle of the road. Thank god the cars stopped before they got to us. Apparently I went for the shoulder of the road to the middle, so that’s kind of scary.
Both of us got away with some bad scrapes and I, a swollen butt. This could have easily gone A LOT worse, and if it weren’t for our helmets… well lets just leave it at that.
Ben and Simon, please don’t tell & show mom. i’ll be fine.
Thanks for the help Josh, and for not running us over with my car!
