Silverfish Longboarding is giving away stickers to their supporters who mail them a self addressed envelope. Here are some of the stickers I got from them, they’re pretty awesome. Thanks Silverfishlongboarding.com!

so much pain! always wear a helmet and pads. I am so thankful for my helmet, Icould have cracked open my skull. Alex and I fell down a huge hill going fast on our longboards, he lost balance right next to me and I couldn’t focus, so we wiped out one after another- hitting our helmets on the asphalt hard. Alex fell forwards, and I fell backwards on my ass.
When i hit the ground, I immediately got scared of my spine, cuz I hit my tailbone on the way down.. but I soon hit the back of my head and the impact was hard. I then heard all of my pads (elbows and knees) scrap the ground as I rolled over and flipped into the middle of the road. Thank god the cars stopped before they got to us. Apparently I went for the shoulder of the road to the middle, so that’s kind of scary.
Both of us got away with some bad scrapes and I, a swollen butt. This could have easily gone A LOT worse, and if it weren’t for our helmets… well lets just leave it at that.
Ben and Simon, please don’t tell & show mom. i’ll be fine.
Thanks for the help Josh, and for not running us over with my car!

Sleeve and I are chillin’ here watching Numb3rs on Netflix. Just got back from bombing the Old Furnace hill just out of N. 38 on the Landyachtz Evo. AWESOME. 30+mph, 2 inches from the pavement. Nothing better… And do you like my sweater?

A little Sublime for this beautiful day
This weather has been absolute shit lately. We’re trying to get out and board. In the sun. FUCK THE POLICE
After reviewing a previous Confucius quote posted, I have to disagree. It does matter how fast you go. If you don’t go fast enough, you won’t have enough force to overcome the force of friction that your wheels have with the riding surface (sidewalk, pavement, so be it…). If you’re going slow, you’re not going to slide. If you’re not going to slide, you’re not going to have fun. If you’re not going to have fun, nobody cares about what you’re doing.
However wrong Confucius might have been, when it comes to longboarding, the second phrase is spot on. “… so long as you don’t stop.” If you’re stopped, you’re not longboarding, you’re standing, which is LAME. So you better move, and you better move fast, because you only live once, and the faster you move, the slower time moves, so go fast, and don’t fall. And if you do fall, you better get the hell back up and start moving again.
